How to allow the user to enter a colon and spaces in the output  RSS feed

Hi, I would like to ask how to let the user enter a colon and spaces in java programming without having some errors. Thank you

Could you elaborate a bit? When I see "let the user", it makes me wonder if you are trying to input what a user is typing. Is it something like that, or are you asking about how a programmer could put colons and spaces into java code?

i would like to let the user enter a colon and space in the output of my java program without having some errors in my output.

Could you post the error message? Spaces and colons should not cause any errors. Do you have a small self contained example of code that causes this issue that you could post?

Are you talking about users entering something on the command line? Typically, enclosing the text in double quotes should solve that problem.
