This week, we're delighted to have John Sonmez helping to answer questions about the new book Soft Skills: The software developer's life manual.

The promotion starts Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 and will end on Friday, February 5th, 2016.

We'll be selecting four random posters in this forum to win a free copy of the book provided by the publisher, Manning.

Welcome to the Ranch

Or more precisely welcome back. Is this the same book that I won on a website not a million miles from here? Or is it a paper copy? I have the e‑book, which I enjoyed and found very interesting. Obviously I shall have to try and win two copies

It's a paper copy now that the book is out. Sometimes we do a MEAP promo and a regular promo on purpose. In this case, I said "this book sounds interesting; we should do a promo" when I was talking to Manning without realizing we had already done one.
