SocketImpl connect is not throwing exception  RSS feed

Hi,
I am very new to java I am trying to execute one piece of code which should fail and throw exception. But it is not trowing any exception.
please correct me if i am wrong.

Rajesh - your question is about the behaviour of ConcreteSocketImpl, but you haven't shared anything about that class. If it is something you wrote yourself, please post the code, otherwise provide a reference to where we can see what it is and what it does.

As new to the forum did not know about the cross posting. Will not do cross posting further.

About the post i figured out the problem.
As Ron McLeod told. I had not posted the other parts of the code. When i visited the code the body of concreteSocket.connect is not doing anything(empty body). Thats why i was not getting the exception.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
