A good fundamental question but not related to this topic. please start another thread and before that google hibernate tutorials and read. if you have specific question then the community will be more than happy to help you, i guess !

Hi Jitendrajava Singh,

First of all, a warm welcome to CodeRanch!

Hibernate is a very popular ORM tool and one of the many JPA providers. Interesting links to get some useful information:
  • Wikipedia: Object-relational mapping (ORM)
  • Wikipedia: Java Persistence API
  • The Java EE 5 Tutorial: Introduction to the Java Persistence API
  • Wikipedia: Hibernate
  • Website: Hibernate ORM

  • Besides these links you'll find plenty of manuals, tutorials, articles, and so on when you'll do a few Google searches.

    Hope it helps!
    Kind regards,
    Roel
