Hi there, I was curious, for a web service set up using Endpoint, is there any way to catch exceptions prior to the @HandlerChain sequence?

I think it is just a case where the client closes the connection early leaving an empty connection, but I sometimes get an error from com.sun.xml.internel.ws.transport.http.HttpAtapter@HttpToolkit handle
where it cannot create the SOAP message due to a parse error. I added in a @HandlerChain and it works periodically so I know the chain was picked up but it never detects that parse error. Is there any earlier chain entry I can make or an exception handler to detect when this occurs?

Hi,

perhaps you can choose a LogicalHandler instead of SOAPHandler?

Best regards

Uwe
