I'm making a Xj3D test file in java and I have a file that works with one X3D and X3DV file called test.x3d and test.x3dv which is the same file just in two different formats and it's a red square. However, when I try and put my own X3D files in, I get the following runtime error

And my java code looks like the following

For this project I'm using the Netbeans IDE and I have hafodty_circle1.x3d and hafodty_circle1.x3dv save in the Xj3DTest.java folder on my laptop. Any help with this would be great.

The line of code that's failing is this:

From the error message, I'm guessing that X3DComponent needs to be a subclass of PhysicsManager and isn't.

I'll have a look now.

It runs okay and has an output when I have the 'test.x3d' or 'test.x3dv' file in, but it doesn't want to work when I run any other x3d file.

I don't understand why it will work for the 'test.x3d' and 'test.x3dv' but not for other X3D files
