Hi all,

I have a problem after creating profile in Websphere.
Client gave a linux system by installing websphere and asked to create 4 profiles in it.
At first I created one profile through profile management tool and start the server. The server started successfully.
But the console on browser is not opening showing as "This page can’t be displayed ".

I Googled, I didnot get any solution. Can some help me where to focus or path logs where I find the error.
More ever at last after creating profile, It asked to decide whether to federate the applciation server into deployement manager cell.
What is this federate ?

Can some body shed a light on this

Did you specify to install admin console when you created the profile ? Also, what do you read in log files ? Without such infoes it is hard even to guess anything..

Hi,

You have to make sure that the machine which you are trying to access the console is having access to the specified port on which you are running the console.
Also, some logs here will be more helpful
