Thank you guys for helping me out, especially thanks to Roel and Ramya.
It took me one and a half month to study for this exam. My study materials were:
- Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff OCA Java SE8 programmer I Study Guide
- Coderanch.com forum
- and enthuware tests.
My average score for the exams in the book is around 80%.
The enthuware standard tests :
Foundation test - 65%
Test 1 - 87%
Test 2 - 84%
Test 3 - 80%
Test 4 - 71%
Test 5 - 68%
Test 6 - 79%
Last Day Test - 74%
The exam started today at 2 PM. The exam questions covered all the subjects. First questions took me awhile to get the answer, I've lost a lot of time, and I started to panic and I hurry up, but I manage to finish all of them and have also 30 minutes left to review and correct some of them.
My strategy was to read the questions , read the options, analize the question and eliminate options to find the correct answer/s.
I'm glad our book was able to help. As you found out, sometimes you just need practice to pace yourself. It's easy to get bogged down when the clock is ticking! Good luck if you take the OCP exam! Oh, always looking for feedback about our book in the form of an Amazon review if you have the time.
Congratulations champion! Great achievement Now it's time to relax a bit and have a (well-deserved) (or 2 or 3). And if you want to spoil yourself have a Belgian beer, our beers are the best of the world
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Other ranchers will definitely benefit! Have a cow!

Glad to hear I could help you during your journey to become OCAJP8 certified. Thanks for these kind words. Highly appreciated!

Although I'm from Belgium and we have the best beers of the world, I don't drink beer In fact, I don't drink any alcohol. So I'll have some soft drinks (or a coffee) and a slice of pie instead Thanks for the pie slice. Very kind of you!
