where could i find lessons about java and if it could be possible and linux?

I used to recommend coursera, but it appears that they are now charging for all courses.

Whether or not your code is OOP depends on how you write it, not which language you use.

Most Java classes are designed to teach OOP principles, but I've seen lots of Java code written in a procedural style. Usually from programmers who are coming from a procedural language and trying to learn OOP.
