client socket not working

I have a server app listening on port 80 , I have an android app that is suppose to talk to the server but it keeps saying "socket timeout"
I am putting the link to the java source code , can you please see if anything is wrong ?

BTW It would be better if you posted the relevant sections of the code inline as many people won't click on links to code.

1) Where is your server running
2) Are you using the emulator or real device
3) Have you ensured the server is accessible from the emulator/device? How?
