I want to use WLI 8.1 Beta to pull Messages from a JMS Queue. I have another java program populating the Queue that resides in WLS. In WLI I have a workflow setup to start on a MessageBroker subscription. I have also used the WLIJMSEventGenTool.cmd file (located in bea\weblogic\integration\bin) to generate a jar file with my "Connector" information. In the jar file is two XML files. Is this all that should be there? Also where do I copy the jar file? Is it to the same directory as my application.work file? If all those assumptions are correct then can anyone off suggestions as to why the workflow is not started?
thanks,

I hate to reply to my own question but I will. You actually have to Run the workflow, not just build the application/project before you can start it. By pressing Ctrl+F5 letting it deploy and bring up the test harness. Then you can execute another program to place messages on the queue. WLI will then pick them up and start your workflow. All assumptions above are correct.

Hi,

I am new to Weblogic 8.1. I have worked in Weblogic 7.0 (Studio). I am finding it hard to startup with 8.1. It is very much different with 7.0. I would like to know the steps that are needed to read & post XML messages from/to a JMS queue. How ll I create the message brokers & channels , are they really required ?

Please help me out. I saw youe note on reading & posting messages to queues. Do send me the steps to be followed.

Thanks in advance

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
