Congratulations champion! Great achievement Now it's time to relax a bit and have a (well-deserved) (or 2 or 3). And if you want to spoil yourself have a Belgian beer, our beers are the best of the world
Don't forget to add your name to the OcajpWallOfFame!

Glad to hear I was able to help you!
Do you consider to share some more details about your experiences of your journey to become OCA certified? It might be very helpful to other ranchers (and you might earn a cow ).

It took around six months for me to feel ready to take the exam. I had little time to study because of my job.
In the beginning I read Sierra&Bates's Java 7 book, practising the tests.
Afterwards, I started to make Enthuware exams having very bad results:
- Test 1: 64% (but 5 hours or so taking the exam)
- Test 2: 51% (but 4 hours or so taking the exam)
- Test 3: 64 % and overtime
- Test 4: 58%
- Test 5: 60%
2nd round was better:
- Test 1: 69%
- Test 2: 64%
- Test 1: 82%
- Test 2: 90%
- Test 3: 83 %
- Test 4: 78%
- Test 5: 83%
- Test 6: 77%
- Last Day: 74%
... and finally I passed the exam with 84% score.
Some questions were very similar (masking credit card...).
From now, I'll start with the OCP exam. I have heard that is very difficult. I hope it will take another 6 months or so.
What do you recommend me??
Thanks in advance!!

If you have passed the OCAJP8 certification exam, you'll need to take the OCPJP8 certification exam next. So I recommend you purchase a study guide which is written especially for this exam. In the OcpjpFaq (besides other very useful information) you'll find an overview of all available resources (study guides, mock exams,...) to thorougly prepare yourself for the OCP certification exam. And on the OcpjpWallOfFame you'll find plenty of (links to) experiences from other ranchers (including resources they have used). So it can be useful to determine which resources are useful (and which are not).
I would use the same approach and resources for the OCP exam (K&B7, study guide for OCP8 and Enthuware). Write lots of code snippets during your preparation. Please keep in mind that this exam will be harder than the OCA exam. Because you need an in-depth knowledge about a bunch of advanced exam topics. So you'll probably need more time to thoroughly prepare yourself for the OCP exam.
Hope it helps!
