I presume you know how to find a null? Is that exception your problem, or is something else going wrong?

I presume you know how to find what is null? The line numbers are different from your original code.

at gui.DrawPanel.BoundaryFill(DrawPanel.java:74) error correspond to this line of code:
bImage.setRGB(x, y, fColor.getRGB());

Okay. So either bImage is null or fColor is null.

I'm sure you know how to assign a value to a variable. Your problem here is that you aren't doing that, or you aren't doing it at the right time, or something. I don't see where you assign anything to bImage, but then I don't even see where you declare it. Presumably it's an instance variable in this class. So, what data is that variable supposed to refer to and where is it supposed to be getting the data from?

If it is an instance field which is null, was it initialised in the constructor? Has it been reassigned anywhere else?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
