I have set the app icon with transparent background like this:

Furthermore I used that icon in menu item like this:

Icon in app window header and also aside the menu item has no background (uses the transparent one) but in Windows taskbar there is used a white squared one.

I have tried to find some solution but unsuccessfully.

Advice will by appreciated.

Petr, can you post a small, complete program that others can compile and run to see your problem? That really helps a lot when we try to assist you.

During the runnable sample and icon preparation I have found that when I was saving the picture icon I have saved it as jpeg so the transparency information has been lost. I did not noticed this because the background of picture is the same as app background.
