What is the duration within which I can appear SCWCD after appearing SCJP

Hi,

may be wrong place to ask, but can some one tell me What is the duration within which I can appear SCWCD after appearing SCJP? I mean, I did SCJP in 2008 can I appear for SCWCD now in 2016?

P.S. dont ask me what I was doing 8 yrs..
P.S. I know certification names has changed.. I always forgets them ..

Welcome to CodeRanch! The SCJP doesn't expire. You might need to contact Oracle support if your old exam doesn't appear in certview

Thanks for your quick reply.

But one small Q. in 2008 Sun was not acquired by oracle how can oracle's certview portal you mention below have my exam details which I given back then? is there any way to link my that exam now with account in certview/pearson vue?? I do have details of reg. number and candidate id, any help..

You're right. They definitely have some way of tracking; I forgot what it is. (Even for people who took exams back when they used Prometric). I still recommend creating a support ticket. Your exam result definitely doesn't expire!

You need to inform Oracle to do a ID merge or something like that.

Once they sorted that out, your Sun certs will be in CertView.
