Since that I am in the same your situation to choice a mandatory course to take to finish the process of the Certification. Can I know what course did you chose?
I am looking for an inspiration and the way to save as much as possible money
Indeed I saw that the majority of the person take the Java EE 7: New Features course that it is the cheapest one. I think that I will take the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML, this is a little bit more expensive but
1)With the possibility of the Training On Demand it leaves me free to spend 2 days to be busy with the on line course in impossible time for person that live in Europe;
2)For a person that he would want to become an Architect it could have more sense this course that focus on the whole cycle of a project instead of the course Java EE 7: New Features that it is, at least I think, more oriented to the persons that have developer attitude.
Well since you already passed part 1, suggesting you to take "Architect Enterprise App with Java EE" is somewhat dumb. Or is it?
Learning UML for part 2 is one thing, learning it for real is another. Did you know that UML course doesn't teach UML2 but UML1.4? I just notice that.
My thoughts is if know nothing about UML then go for the UML course despite it covers 1.4. However going through the book UML Distilled 3e by Martin Fowler and the help of uml-diagrams.org will cover your assignment needs.
If you have NOT started part 2, take on something challenging and useful even if it's Java 8 fundamentals
However I have already achieved the certification. I have chosen this course instead of Java 8 fundamentals because in my real life I am already doing already enough experience with Java 8 but I know that I have some lacuna on Arhcitect practice and for this I have chosen the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML. What do you think in regard to this?
