As part of the Business Systems Manager role your main responsibilities will be to:
Lead and develop a team of systems and applications developers to ensure innovative and fit for purpose IT solutions are being delivered.
Develop a best in class capability through the coaching and mentoring of the team members.
Establish and communicate clear team structures and activities in order to ensure proactive IT development.
Implement robust IT processes around development and support to drive an efficient and effective delivery.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and to facilitate the pipeline of work both in and out of the department.
Be commercially aware and manage third party suppliers to ensure solutions are delivered in line with the Charity's architectural principles.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in your application for the Business Systems Manager role you will:
Have a strong track record, within IT Development, of leading and managing teams of 10+.
Demonstrate a history of coaching and mentoring team members to enhance and grow capability.
Have demonstrable experience of turning around IT teams to establish high performance and delivery.
Have implemented robust IT processes around ITIL to ensure changes and developments are being carried out effectively
Any experience with clinical or patient administration systems would be highly desirable but not essential.
Have high attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem solving and be a process orientated individual.
Be an IT professional with relevant IT qualifications such as ISEB or Systems Engineer qualifications.
