Hello fellas

I recently upgraded my Mac from Yosemite (10.10) to El Capitan (10.11) and found that Apache can't start because mod_jk.so library file gone.

So I download mod_jk and rebuild it. However I got the error when compiling:

apr_lib.h not found

What I did was run the commands:
./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs => works fine
make => failed

I don't know if it's my Xcode (v7.3.1) or the command tools that comes with it has problems. Any ideas?

Have you tried to re-install Apache by doing so through MacPorts? So it should download all dependencies.

In case you were able to live without them you can check here how to install.

Thanks L for you suggestion. I hope I don't need to go that route.

I finally got Apache working. I didn't actually solve the compiling issue but found a previous mod_jk.so file lying around from previous upgrade.

Use that instead. Fix apache config and voila back to the old days.
