Hello All, I am an experienced Java Developer. I am planning to get OCPJP 8 certification. But I have mostly worked on Java 6 version in my professional career.
How difficult or easy would it be for me to get the version 8 certification. Also could you please let me know should I directly go for OCPJP 8 or do the OCPJP 7 and then upgrade?
Also please provide me references that can be used to prepare for the certifications. And explain me the way of studying for certifications as I have to get the certification done in a month.

The OCPJP 8 cannot be taken directly, you need to complete OCAJP 8 prior to taking this exam.
Read OCPJP 8 Exam FAQs and Oracle Certified Java SE 8 Programmer, OCAJP and OCPJP articles to know more about Java 8 Certification.

Thanks Jhonson for the reply.
Yes I am planning to do an OCAJP 8 and then the OCPJP 8.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
