How to manage error with spring rest

hi

i use spring boot and spring rest.

in my service layer, some error can happen, so i throw error

in my rest controller, i would like to know what to do to send it to the client.

You can make an object say Message storing the success/failed error messages and status.

If the rest controller (web service) has error, populate the Message class and return this class along with the response.

If there is NO error, a complete message is good to have but not a must.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
