You may not be familiar with the astronomy project TRAPPIST-1. Its purpose is to search for planets outside the solar system, something which is being done a lot by astronomers today.

How is that relevant to this thread? Well if you go to their site you'll see they have a related project called SPECULOOS, so obviously they have very refined taste.

These metrics can be easily improved using a different data set Although I created my account in 2004, when I was at my first job and worked as a Java developer for 6 months (having an alignment issue), I was not a regular visitor and contributor (mainly certification related question). But that changed at the beginning of 2009 when I started the SCJD (currently OCMJD) certification. I visited (and contributed) CodeRanch on a daily basis and that has never changed since. And if you look at my posts overview, I have 257 pages in total. In a period of almost 5 years (account creation in mid 2004 and SCJD certification started in 2009) I have only 7 pages of posts, so that's only +-300 posts in those 4.5 years (which drastically decreases my statistics).

To give a better idea of my current stats This post was my 8000th post (Oct 16, 2015), this one was number 9000 (Jan 29, 2016) and of course the OP in this topic was 10000 (June 7, 2016). So that's 235 days or 338.400 minutes for 2000 posts. That's on average 8.5 posts a day, so I create every 169 minutes 1 post

That's a very harsh statistic Because cows is quite a recent feature. I believe you can grant cows now for 4-5 years. So all posts I made between 2004 (2009) and 2012 (or 2013) were not eligible to get a cow
