& and | in integer

I'm not sure this is in the cert, but I find this pretty weirdly designed :

        int i =  1400|1;
        System.out.println(i);
        i = 1|2;
        System.out.println(i);
        i = 1|1;
        System.out.println(i);
        i=1&1400;
        System.out.println(i);
        i=1&1;
        System.out.println(i);

1401
3
1
0
1

It's in enthuware software question bank though. But I'll never use that anyway, so it doesn't mean much

Cedric, could you please mention the question id of this question? I searched our OCA7 as welll as OCA8 question banks and couldn't find it.
