Hi,

How Provider and Consumer can communicate about Resources in REST. In SOAP, I know it is by WSDL through which services are specified. How is this happens in case of REST? Is it like, Provider gives list of URIs to the consumer via Mail or document? And also Provider and Consumer should know what format they are using to send and receive the data, because if Provider expecting JSON representation of data (and have JSON parser to parse this), Consumer should`t send XML representation of data, Is`t it?

Take a look at WADL. I'm not sure much it is actually used - I've never had a need for WADLs myself.

Jeresy has built-in WADL Support.
