Hi Roger,

How will Mesos operate hand-in-hand with OpenStack?

Rodger, as a paid OpenStacks customer I would like to know this as well.

Sincerely,

Hi,

I made a similar mention on my question https://coderanch.com/t/667443/Cloud-Virtualization/Mesos-Framework-Ecosystem which Netflix is dealing with Mesos with AWS  (there is the video of the presentation here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyGEgWAG9EQ&index=22&list=PLGeM09tlguZQVL7ZsfNMffX9h1rGNVqnC ). I think OpenStack as some other cloud platforms probably have many related problems and need for new features from the current frameworks.

Kind regards,
Luan

OpenStack is just a virtualization platform, like VMware, Xen, AWS, etc. So yes, you can run Mesos in virtual machines on top of an OpenStack cloud if you need to.
