Hey there! I created this short but a high quality list of courses available to learn Java online.

For absolute beginners, this should be a great reference point.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I have completed the Treehouse course track and found it to be worth the time. I am planning to complete the Coursera specializtion now, halfway through it. Have you taken any of these courses ?

I was going to ask the same question. Given you present them as "A Curated list" I wonder who they were curated by? Given you've only done one of them, who curated the others?

I read the reviews of several Java beginner courses from various sources such as official course page, quora, reddit, class-central etc and curated this list.

It is not a perfect list by any means. Just the best I found with my research.

You're welcome Campbell Ritchie

If you have any suggestions on the listed courses of if you think there are better courses, please suggest me as I am learning Java actively too.

I don't think I have used any of them. I went through the route of getting a degree, and you do not usually use such courses for a degree. I have heard good things about Coursera, however. Thank you for the good explanation of how you chose the courses
