Hello again,

I noticed that in the summary section of chapter 3 (page 151) it states that the String methods you need to know are as follows:

charAt(), concat(), endsWith(), equals(), equalsIgnoreCase(), indexOf(), length(), replace(), startsWith(), substring(), toLowerCase(), toUppercase(), and trim().  Looking back to page 109 though it includes contains() as a method that you should know which I think was intended to be said rather than concat().

I think both the concat() and contains() methods could be in this enumeration, because both are covered in the book The first one on page 105 at the top, the latter one on page 109 at the bottom. But only the contains() method is listed in the section "Important String Methods", so it should definitely be listed in this list. Well spotted!

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel

Agreed that both should be in there. I noted it in our private list as it doesn't quite rise to the level of an errata. That said, I'm glad you pointed it out as I don't think I'd have noticed it in a zillion years. Have a cow.
