I've been searching a bit and found that there are providers of payment such as PayPal.

I also noticed that there are a number of steps there are executed as security requirements, validate cards and etc.

My question is what would be the best option to implement a payment system using java?

It would be interesting to implement it, or use a system already known, what are the difficulties and the steps to be faced?

The most difficult part is probably dealing with laws and trade regulations.

Unless you have a lot of resources and expertise at your disposal, then the best way to go about this is probably to not implement this yourself.

Even just incorporating an existing payment system into an app is riddled with regulations.
