Hello,

I have the below code, where despite writing 'min-height:100%;', I can see that the black square border appears in the middle of the page.
I suspected it appeared due to background-image but that's not the case, even writing 'html { height:100%;} didn't solve the issue.

Please suggest.

Using percentages with height can be problematic. In this case, 100% of what?

You might try setting a height of 100% on the html tag, and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply Bear but setting actually brings up the border near the header section.

Use the CSS debugger to see what's adding the border (or margin, or padding, or positioning, or whatever's causing it).
