Last weekend I watched Once Upon a Time in America starring one of my favourite actors Robert De Niro
A stellar performance by almost all the cast it was a good watch.

One thing I particular liked is the background music. I think haunting is the word to best describe it.
Enjoy the beautiful 'Deborah's theme'

Very nice. The beginning reminded me a little of the Blue Train theme from Murder on the Orient Express (fast-forward to the 3:10 mark); although the mood of the two pieces is very different. The original soundtrack version is even better, and fits perfectly with the film.

If you want some more fine film music, check out 'Dr. Zhivago' and 'Laurence of Arabia'.
