How can I execute jsp page in real server?
I purchase a VPS(Virtual Private Server) from a hosting company. When I upload some jsp files to that server space it will display the code within <% . .. . . %> jsp tag.
The same file will be successfully executed in local server like Tomcat.
Other server pages(like php) will be executed successfully from VPS.
Can anybody help?
How this problem can be solved?

What kind of server is running in that environment? Does it support JSP? And if so, is the support turned on? PHP is generally implemented via an Apache module, but JSP needs a servlet container instead.

It is a server that runs Tomcat and MySQL database.
Should I install servlet container in VPS?
Kindly provide some useful links how this can be done.

Tomcat is a servlet container.

How have you deployed the JSP page?

What is the directory structure?
