Hi All,

I have an industry experience of 6 years. I have been on and off java but I always maintain my profile as a Java developer. I have worked on UI technologies like HTML, CSS etc and some other client and server based languages whose names I don't even remember since I did not hear of these technologies after completing the project. My performance in UI technologies has been pathetic. I believe HTML, CSS and other UI languages require a lot of creative thinking/imagination which I don't have. I am more of a logic and analysis person.  Trying to find a project related to Java was something I was struggling to get. That's why I mentioned I have been on and off java. Today I have some work which is related to Java but the thing is it is mostly enhancement related work. So what happens is I have a lot of things to understand before actually implementing and the implementation part is very little. I have a lot of problem in understanding the current system and the requirements. I have some family problems as well which I dont want to discuss. I dont know what exactly the issue is, but I am struggling.

Please advise me

Is there a teammate you can ask for advice? Someone you know in person who works for the same company is likely to have more insight.

Understanding an existing system isn't an easy task. But it is valuable.
