Method local inner class clarification needed

I've posted the below example and output of the "method local inner class"  , i provided the subclass of  Boo in zoo() method of Bar1 class and also overridden the test method. I was expecting the second output as "method local inner class test". But the second output comes as "Boo class test". Can anyone explain me how it works?

		System.out.println("Boo class " + s);
	}
	
	Boo(){
		
	}
	public void test(){
		System.out.println("Boo class test");
	}

public class Bar1 extends Boo{
	Bar1(){
		
	}
	
	Bar1(String s){

		Boo f = new Boo("apple"){
			public void test(){
				System.out.println("method local inner class test");
			}
		};
		Boo bo = new Boo();
		bo.test();
	}
	public static void main(String[] args) {
		Bar1 b = new Bar1();
		b.zoo();

	}
}

Output:

Good questions. The problem lies in this code:

       Boo f = new Boo("apple"){
            public void test(){
                System.out.println("method local inner class test");
            }
        };
        Boo bo = new Boo();
        bo.test();

You create your method local inner class and store the reference in the local variable f. But you don't call f.test(). You instead create a variable called bo that references the original Boo class.
