Me -- I use the tab key when typing but have the editors save the indentations to file as spaces.

If you're using tabs then you'd better start using spaces instead, it will magically make your salary rise by a few thousand $ per year.
Tell your manager: "I'm using spaces now!". He will give you a raise!
