What are the highlight to Java SE 8?  It is the Date and Time API (I really like this API)

What Java SE 8 APIs are going to make developers life easier or make them more productive?  It is JAX-RS?

The biggest change is probably the addition of lambda expressions and the java.util.stream and the java.util.function packages. This allows a certain degree of functional programming.

JAX-RS is not Java 8. It's been present since Java 6.

I check out those APIs, thanks.

About JAX-RS, what I meant to ask is:  Were there any changes, upgrades or additions made to JAX-RS in Java SE 8?

JAX-RS has its own release schedule. It's not tied to Java releases.

The specification contains a changelog. You can download it here: http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/jcp/jaxrs-2_0_rev_A-mrel-eval-spec/index.html
