Thanks, Piet.

Books are not the only resource that can be used to prepare for this exam.
JavaRanch's FAQ on this exam includes list of multiple resources that you can use to prepare for this exam.
But OCAJP and OCPJP8 are not easy exams. You need to know your Java inside out to pass these exams.
Piet Souris wrote:My questions are:
1) according to Amazon, your book on OCAJP 8 is not yet available. Do you have an idea when that will be the case?
2) do you have plans to publish an OCPJP 8 book as well, and if so, do you have some date in mind?
3) in what way would you say that your approach to the matter is different from, say, Boyarski and Selikoff and others?
This book will be available with Amazon very soon (within a week).
Every author/ publisher has a different style or approach. You can download a free chapter of this title from the publisher's website, that is, manning.com/gupta3, to evaluate the approach/ features of this title (screen shot included).

Good Luck to you.
