Hi,
I have deployed a stateless session bean in weblogic8.1 server successfully, while i am trying to get a InitialContext from my client code. I get the following exception.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/security/auth/callback/CallbackHandler
at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.forName(Unknown Source)
at weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory.getInitialContext(WLInitialContextFactory.java:131)
at javax.naming.spi.NamingManager.getInitialContext(Unknown Source)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.getDefaultInitCtx(Unknown Source)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.init(Unknown Source)
at javax.naming.InitialContext.<init>(Unknown Source)
at SessionClient.main(SessionClient.java:25)

Could ne1 let me know what could be the problem due to?
Thanks
Johnny

My guess is that your client code is running on J2SE 1.3.x and therefore does not have access to the JAAS classes. Either include JAAS with your client code or run your client under J2SE 1.4.x.
Moving to the WebLogic forum for further discussion...

Hi,
Thanks, It worked by using J2SE 1.4.X.
