errata on difference between a reference and an objec? (Java OCA 8 Programmer I Study Guide, Sybex)
Hi again Java OCA 8 Programmer I Study Guide - Sybex Authors,

While I completely understand the point ... finalize() could run 0 or 1 time.   After appropriately stressing "Realizing the difference between a reference and an object goes a long way toward understanding garbage collection", shortly thereafter "While f is eligible for garbage collection" appears to "step on" the message?  Perhaps if should be "While the object (instance of Finalizer class) referenced by f is eligible for garbage collection"?

Thanks.  Great book by the way!

Charles,
This could certainly be clearer. I've added it to our private list of notes. Thanks.
Thanks
