I am currently preparing for OCA exam and I have a friend who has done this exam.

He says that in the real exam, they state that "choose all that applies" for questions that have multiple answers instead of telling you how many to choose but from looking at some study guides, mock exams, etc it has confused me what to expect in the real exam.

Some mock exams (such as enthuware) tells you how many to select but K&B's mock exams says "choose all that applies". It would be great if someone can please clarify how the real exams are and which style to expect.

Thanks.

Hi Sahil,

They will ask you to select particular number of correct answers.
For example if a question has two correct answers they ask you to select two answers at the top of screen. If you tried select more answers, you will get an alert saying you have reached maximum number of answers. If only one option is correct, they ask you like select the best option. This question has already been asked. see this thread OCAJP_Correct_Ans_Number

Hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply.

Does it matter where I am sitting the exam?

Because I asked my friend again he says that some questions definitely said "choose all that applies" instead of asking to select specific number of answers.

Hi Sahil,

Does it matter where I am sitting the exam?

No. It doesn't matter. But make sure the center doesn't have any disturbances like vehicles sounds, etc. I have scored 88 % in OCAJP 8 exam in one center. Two of my colleagues sat for exam in different centers. They have scored 94 % and  91 %. We three people didn't encounter a question saying choose all that applies .  We got  like select two answers if question has two correct answers.

Hope it helps.

It's the opposite, you probably have misunderstood your friend. If you leave a question incomplete you will know it.
