Whenever I access Javaranch after clearing my browser cache, I get a totally different layout, which I think is the "new" layout. It's not a problem because once I log in, I see the old familiar layout, which also what I prefer.
A few days ago, I suggested one of our customers to post their question on JavaRanch and they said that they find the layout too cluttered. This user apparently had no idea about the old and new layouts. This tells me that I am not the only one

So I now wonder how many existing users have set the old layout as their default?

I have the classic layout as my default. I freak out whenever i see the new one.

Isn't there a flag stored with every user profile that tells which view to serve? May be admins can run a query and see which view is more in use?
