I am building an Eclipse distro using Oomph Eclipse Installer and in order to add plugins I need the identifiers of the plugins. Using the "Install New Software" feature, finding the identifier is easy

But I can't find the identifiers anywhere using the built in Eclipse Marketplace tool.

I don't understand. You found a view that has them. Are you asking why the web marketplace doesn't have the same?

The Install New Software view doesn't populate the plugins that can be found the eclipse marketplace. However I found a way to view the identifiers of all of the plugins installed.
