I have used used Katy Seirra's Book for OCA 7 for my preparation. Then I used the book of "Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff" for OCA 8 topics. I have read the review notes on "Mala Gupta"'s book. I felt that Mala Gupta's book had noted more tricky points in the review notes which were not mentioned in the books I read. I took enthuware mock test 1 and got 58%. Now I have have planned to re read a book. I felt that the things provided in Katy Seirra's book were not enough. So I have to choose between "Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff" and "Mala Gupta". Mala Gupta's book seem to have more pages than "Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff". I need to finish reading as soon as possible as I have to take the exam too.

So which book you would suggest me to read? Will "Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff" alone be enough?

I have used OCAJP8 by Sybex which is excellent book for OCAJP. I have scored 88% in the exam. I used only  OCAJP8 by Sybex. So , I recommend that book to you. I didn't use OCAJP8 by Mala Guptha. So I can't talk about that book.
OCAJP covers Java basics in depth.  OCAJP8 by Sybex book covers all the points which are required for the exam.

There are other OCAJP8 study guides available on the market. In this topic you'll find a nice overview of all availabe resources (study guides, video courses, mock exams,...) for both OCAJP7 and OCAJP8 study guides. Please note that you can purchase two (or even more) study guides and use one as your primary study guide and the other(s) as complementary resources.
