Hello. I have a fair knowledge of OOPS concepts and I am planning to take up ocjp java 7 certification exam. Are 15 days sufficient for preparation?

Do you have any older Java  version  certification  ?. If you have , you can upgrade to ocjp 7. If you don't have any  older Java  version  certification , you need to write two exams OCAJP7, OCPJP 7. Go through our OCAJP FAQ thread for more information OCAJP_FAQ ,  OCPJP_FAQ ,  ,OCPJP-Mock-Tests .
To know Exam cleared people experience, Follow below links. Their experiences may help you how to prepare ?

It totally depends on your understanding level in Java.

Probably not. The certification exams are not designed to be easy. For the OCA 7, if you study many, many hours a day for 15 days, maybe. For the OCP 7, definitely not.

Most certification books have an assessment at the beginning. So you'll be able to see where you stand that way.

Hi again,

I cleared OCAJP with 83% last week. Now I would like to go ahead with OCPJP exam. Can you please help me as to how to go about it.
Also, are there negative markings in OCPJP??

Congrats on the OCA! Narayana posted links to the OCP FAQ which has information and resources. Note that the OCP is a far more difficult exam than the OCA.

There are no negative markings on the OCP. If you get a question wrong, you get zero points (not negative points.) In other words, don't leave any questions blank. Even a guess is a chance!
