President Obama "pardoned" two turkeys.
IMO "pardon" indicates some crime or offence. What did these turkeys do wrong?
Obama is black and turkeys are white. Is it a case of racial prejudging? Don't White Lives Matter?
Discuss.

Damn!
In my defence, never having seen a live turkey myself, I was going by what I saw in the news

But they are not fit to eat.

A real live turkey changes colour; its wattles change from pink to blue and back in a few seconds. So it is uncertain what colour it is. But not as uncertain as for octopuses or chameleons.

Plus a turkey has white meat and dark meat. Diversity!

Mmm. Turkey.

And anyway if people didn't eat turkeys, then those white turkeys would never have lived. So clearly their lives do matter.

@Bear
Looks delicious. Yum.
What's that red round thing on the turkey? Temperature indicator? Unless it's a ruby ring

Yeah, it's a useless popup temp thing. I just ignore it and use a real thermometer.
