I have a couple needs for AWS:

1. I need to host Drupal websites but also have email (including forwarders) configured. Multiple clients are currently on my Linux box. Would want the same functionality in AWS.

2. I need to host web services.

I'm sure AWS can "do" all this but exactly how difficult is all this to configure?

Currently, I have a VPS hosting company that uses Web Host Manager. This Apache tool configures websites and most things (like Tomcat integration) are super simple. Not sure how simple it would be to configure multiple websites, DNS, and the like in AWS. Would it be easy?

From everything I'm hearing, if I don't know AWS, I'm out of date. Not sure if that's true, but would appreciate some thoughts and ways forward.

I've tried watching YouTube videos, but they are not specific enough for really digging in.

Maybe a book?

Would appreciate any comments.

Thanks,

mike
