Hi all,
I have 2 applications deployed in WL8 workshop domain. Both these applications contains web services. I am using weblogic.jws.util.Logger instance JwsContext for logging the messages in the JWS file. Now my problem is , log messges from both the applications are going into one log file when i define the log4j category like this -

<category name="wlw">
<priority value="debug" />
<appender-ref ref="APPLOGFILE" />
<appender-ref ref="LOGFILE1" />
</category>

So tried with 2 different categories as I want to seperate the log files for 2 applications. I set the category like this -

<category name="com.covad.test.webservice1">
<priority value="debug" />
<appender-ref ref="LOGFILE1" />
</category>

<category name="com.covad.test.webservice2">
<priority value="debug" />
<appender-ref ref="LOGFILE2" />
</category>

this does not help. 2 log files are created, however, they are empty. How do i seperate the log from 2 applications?

We should throw him a surprise party. It will cheer him up. We can use this tiny ad:
