I get this error when I try to deploy my web application

Deployment is in progress...
FAIL - Unable to create directory [C:\Program Files\apache-tomcat-8.0.39\conf\Catalina\localhost]
C:\Users\EDGE\Documents\NetBeansProjects\mywebapp\nbproject\build-impl.xml:1045: The module has not been deployed.
See the server log for details.
BUILD FAILED (total time: 4 seconds)

How do i solve this ?

You need a user ID which has permission to create that directory. You didn't say how you were doing this, so maybe "Run as Administrator" would work. Or maybe it's an error from Tomcat, and maybe you're running Tomcat as a service, in which case you should run it using some other user ID.

But basically I think you shouldn't have installed Tomcat into the "Program Files" directory in the first place.
