no axis2 only works upto servlet2.5

I know Axis2 works on Tomcat 8 (which supports Servlet 3.1) because I use it. What makes you think otherwise?

You can attach images via the "Attachment" tab when writing a post/reply. But any text (error messages and such), please post as text.

Some people says soap is more secure than restful webservices?..is it true?

SOAP has more security features available, namely the ones defined in WS-Security, but REST can also be made secure via HTTPS and authentication. So as a blanket statement like that, I would say no, it's not true.

That can't be answered in general. But I would say, if security is very high among your priorities, then SOAP with WS-Security is a better choice.
