Hello and welcome Mr.  Saumont,

I am very interested in this topic. Even more now that I am preparing my OCP exam and all these things are little bit abstract for me.

I would like to know if you can find on this book examples with the same functional interfaces that there are on the OCP exam or even more?

Thanks in advanced.

Hello,

I must say that you won't find much related to the OCP. This is not a book about Java 8. The book makes a heavy use of lambdas, so you would learn many interesting things about them (including things that are not supposed to exist, such as recursive lambdas), but you will learn very little about new classes such as Optional and Stream, beside the reason why they are not well suited to functional programming. But reading the book will certainly give you a better understanding of how you can use these component in a functional way. But this is probably not what you will be asked for the OCP.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
