I am trying to automate two things on a https-secured site. The site is csgolounge.com. I want to login (its not login via steam, only a username + pw), and then I want to post trades in an automated way.
So far I was able to find a way of connecting to a https-site in java by emulating to be a browser.

From here on I'm a bit lost tho. I think that I have to send a response containing some cookie info.

And then I need to recreate two things. (I did it with charles-debugging tool). The Login-process, and the post-trade-process.
Could anyone please point me towards a direction? Thanks a lot (:

The HtmlUnit library is IMO the best way for programmatic web access.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
