hi

i am new to Ejb & weblogic, i have deployed the jsp, its getting deployed properly.
i have an ejb, created a jar of it(java classes + META-INF-weblogic-ejb.xml & ejb-jar.xml) , then created war of my jsp
(jsp + web-inf =>web.xml, lib=>jar file)

And then i am deploying this application into weblogic 7, i am getting an error as

Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

what is the problem?
Thank you

Hi,

We have a dedicated BEA/WebLogic forum which is a lot better place to get answers for WebLogic specific questions.

I'm moving this thread over there.

Hi Shubha,

Just guessing...does your path structure of your war file include the webapp directory? In my experience it should not. For example in your war file, your web.xml should have a path of 'web-inf' not 'MyWebApp/web-inf'.
